I have always been told 'Knowledge is Power', but I never really fully understood the significance of this until I started reading more self-help books about three years ago.

My mom has always been an avid reader of books, not fiction books but health and self-improvement books and growing up with my three brothers we gained quite a lot of knowledge from my parents of how to stay healthy.

It is only when you compare yourself to other people around you that you realise that not everybody has the same understanding of how to be healthy. (Drinking cod liver oil mixed with orange juice before leaving for school was not replicated by many of my school friends!)

By understanding that what we eat, drink and think affects our whole quality of life, you begin to change habits and alter beliefs that you have had for many years.

There are no quick fixes, but with determination and the tools to do it, you will make real changes in your life....for the better.

I hope that this Health Guide gives you the power to improve your health, body and mind to another level. You will be amazed at how you feel.

I have never felt better in my life, and I have only just touched the surface. Knowledge can always be gained and improved, and the site will continue to grow and provide a wealth of information to help us all.
